About Michael
Michael Gutenplan is an award-winning magician and mentalist who specializes in creating unforgettable experiences using a mixture of psychic entertainment, magic, and comedy. A third-generation psychic, he has performed in 24 countries and 49 states. He has been featured on dozens of TV programs and reviewed by countless newspapers including The New York Times, Variety, and the L.A. Times. He was named best 'Club Entertainment' by Boardroom Magazine, awarded the Los Angeles Award for ‘Best Psychic Entertainer,’ has been named ‘Best Corporate Entertainer’ in the Corgentum Survey (2017-2022), and Time Out New York called his virtual show a ‘Top Thing to Do.’ Michael has served as a consultant to various TV, theme park, and theatrical productions. He is the creator and star of the hit Off-Broadway show "Extraordinary Deceptions" as well as "Dark Minds" at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Michael is graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and a performing member of The Magic Castle.

Michael is a third-generation psychic who has astonished the world with numerous correct predictions including the winners of 10 Super Bowls, the top three places of fourteen Kentucky Derbies (yes… he even got the surprise 2019 win by Country House correct), and his amazing prediction of 15 spins of the roulette wheel at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas… which is why he is banned from that casino for life.

A: Michael’s keynote and show is customized for each audience, so it is actually much more in line with your past speakers that one would imagine. As for the mind reading show and strolling magic, these are designed to be an incredible experience for your guests. With 20 years of professional performing experience, Michael knows how to engage a crowd, get everyone involved, and keep it fun. Trust our experience to make your event unforgettable.
Q: Do we pay for travel?
A: Great question! For corporate events we request two nights hotel, car rental, and flights. This can be done as a buyout. If this impacts your budget please let us know and we can make adjustments.
Q: Do you have a cancelation policy?
A: Yes. Our performance agreement has a detailed cancelation policy including a clause for COVID related cancelations.
Q: Our event is in the middle of nowhere. We don’t have the budget to fly you in.
A: Give us a call and we can definitely find a way to get your guests the best entertainment and keynote.
Q: Is it a kids show?
A: No – but it is family friendly meaning there are no dirty words or inappropriate humor. The show is designed for adults.
Q: Do you need any special set up?
A: No. Michael comes fully prepared to work in any setting. The only thing we request is access to speakers. For audiences larger than 1000 we strongly suggest a video display.
Q: What is the largest group you've performed for?
A: Michael has performed for audiences as large as 5000 and as small as 3 people!
Q: Most of our guests are older, will they enjoy the show?
A: Yes! This show is designed to entertain the most skeptical and demanding audiences. Older audiences love this type of entertainment.
Q: We have an event in a few weeks, can you do it?
A: Yes – if Michael is not already booked he can be at your event.
